Tithing - putting God first.
All are asked to prayerfully consider tithing and return 10% of our income to the Lord through the Parish in gratitude. The spiritual practice of tithing disposes us to place God first in every area of our lives!
Our weekly income is used to pay operating expenses and also to properly maintain the buildings and grounds we have inherited. If there is a specific cause/project that you would like to donate to, simply indicate the project title on the donation and the Parish will keep 100% of that donation and all will go towards the indicated project.

Donations may be made out to Parish of St Mary and mailed to the parish office at 45 Freestone Ave, Portland, CT 06480.
If you are not receiving envelopes, please contact the Parish Office to make arrangements. If you are away from home and unable to attend Mass at Saint Mary, please make up this offering when you return. By maintaining this type of giving practice on a yearly basis, the parish can rely on a consistent contribution enabling us to better meet our financial obligations.
