On the first weekend of every month, the Church of St. Mary collects non-perishable food items for many needy Portland families who greatly appreciate our help. It is then delivered to the Portland Food Bank for distribution. Our parishioners also donate used clothing to the Food Bank which is also distributed to needy Portland residents. The Food Bank is located on Waverly Avenue in the Senior Center basement. It is open on Monday and Thursday each week from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.
