Holy Days of Obligation are principal feast days on which, in addition to Sundays, Catholics are obliged to attend Mass and participate in the Eucharist. We celebrate the great things that God has done for us through Jesus Christ and the saints.
There are six Holy Days of Obligation in the United States.
