This ministry comforts grieving members of the parish community by providing an after funeral reception in the Father McGinley Hall for any family who has a funeral service from the Church of St. Mary.
 
A designated family member is contacted by the Coordinator to review what is provided and to discuss specific family requests.  Parish volunteers are then contacted to bake or make light luncheon items to be served at the reception.  In addition to set up, serving, and cleanup, the committee provides friendship and support to the family at this difficult time.
 
There is no charge for this service; however, a free will offering is appreciated to help us “pay it forward” to the next family with a loss. 
 
This ministry is open to all parishioners!
